Chicago Public Schools’ Website Features Mindovo Giving

Mindovo was recently featured in a story on cpspartnerships.org – a website of the Chicago Public School (CPS) system – for our giving effort this past Winter that we conducted in concert with Carrie Healy of Jean Wright Real Estate in Winnetka, IL.

Since then, Mindovo has expanded our partnership with the Chicago Public Schools. Our spring computer drive succeeded at collecting dozens of computers and hundreds of accessories, as well TVs, commercial photocopiers, and more.

Mindovo is currently in the process of developing a working relationship with members of the Illinois Council of Students (founded by former Mindovo intern and Harvard College student Matt McCambridge) who will help us grow our efforts exponentially by supplying much needed student volunteers to power our collection, data deletion, and donation program.

Our goal is to collect and securely delete hundreds of computers from our clients and other North Shore residents in order to provide modern learning tools to severely underserved Chicago Public Schools – some of which have no computers at all.
