Tony Mars is the founder and chief advisor of Mindovo. He has appeared in The New York Times, CNET, the Associated Press, North Shore Magazine, the Chicago Tribune, and other publications.
Tony was honored as a “Local Treasure” in Chicago’s North Shore by MakeItBetter.net and was selected as one of “50 People Worth Watching” by Madison Magazine.
An alum of Harvard University and the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Tony has continued life long learning via select coursework at Northwestern University, as well as attendance at TED.
Tony was elected to serve as a Trustee for the Winnetka-Northfield Library District. His service concluded in 2011 and was dedicated to re-imagining the role of libraries in the Internet Age.
Under Tony’s leadership, Mindovo has donated both cash gifts and in-kind services to many leading non-profits including the Garden Guild of Winnetka, Designs for Dignity, Rush Hospital Woman’s Board, the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago, and others.
